Clubs, sports and opportunities

At TIPS International – Erode, learners immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of activities, leadership roles and enrichment programmes that bring learning to life beyond the classroom. From Early Years onwards, learners explore arts, music, dance, drama, sports, STEM and media in specialist spaces, while House events, clubs and holiday camps nurture creativity, teamwork and school spirit.

As they advance through the grades, learners take the lead in CAS projects, community service, MUN, podcasts, publications and student-led initiatives, developing confidence, empathy and real-world skills that prepare them to thrive as global, responsible and independent young adults.

Beyond the classroom: sports, activities and leadership

TIPS TEDxYouth

TEDxYouth is a flagship platform for student voice, enterprise and innovation. Under the globally recognised TEDx format, selected speakers shape powerful narratives and present live to a public audience. Through the ‘IMAGINOVATION’ theme, participants build advanced thinking, communication and creative confidence.

School Houses

School Houses

The House System at our IB school in Erode energises student life with identity, friendship and healthy competition. Our four houses – Northern Nobles, Southern Stalwarts, Eastern Elites and Western Warriors – bring learners together across grades to compete in academics, arts, sport and service.

Through inter-house events and championships, learners earn points, lead teams and celebrate shared success, building school spirit, resilience and pride in their house colours.

After-school programmes

After-school programmes

At The Indian Public School, learners can attend CAS-focused after-school sessions from 4pm to 5pm, using structured time to engage in Creativity, Activity and Service.

Guided by staff, they plan and lead initiatives, collaborate on service projects and complete reflection and documentation, building independence, leadership and meaningful experiential learning aligned with CAS outcomes.

After-school for boarders

After-school for boarders

For boarders, learning continues with purpose beyond the school day. Once regular classes end at 4pm, learners who need extra academic support can benefit from four to five additional sessions designed exclusively for boarders.

This focused approach provides the time, guidance and individual attention needed to strengthen understanding, build confidence and help every learner make steady progress.

Ruqaiya Grade 7

Our art room is beautifully decorated with artworks created using different mediums.

Our teacher, Mr. Balamurugan, teaches us many different techniques that help us improve and apply them in our art pieces. We truly enjoy attending art classes and always look forward to them.
