An ISP School
TIPS International – Erode is part of International Schools Partnership, offering learners transformative and skill-building learning opportunities empowered by a global network.
TIPS’ legacy is shaped not only by its achievements but by the people and values behind them. Founded by highly respected visionaries who are also medical practitioners, the school reflects both the rigour of professional excellence and the compassion of true educators.
That legacy is carried forward by a team of accomplished teachers, proud alumni and experienced educators, many with more than 10 years of guiding young learners towards success.
With more than a decade of educational excellence, a 95% retention rate and a reputation built on consistency, care and results, TIPS stands as a school where legacy is not simply remembered but lived every day through the confidence, loyalty and achievements of its community.
Academic excellence is built on a powerful legacy of reputed founder-doctors, a strong alumni network and highly experienced teachers with over 15 years in the classroom and 100% retention. Recognised as the “Best School for Academic Brilliance” in August 2023, the school lives its Learning.First™ philosophy through personalised guidance, smart use of technology and inquiry-based teaching.
From the Early Years, best practices from International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, Waldorf and Montessori create a strong learning foundation. This leads to outstanding outcomes, including results above international benchmarks in the March 2025 Lower Secondary Checkpoint exams with World and Country Toppers, and over 65% of learners achieving A*– C in IGCSE, AS and A Level examinations.
Through our Future Pathways guidance, learners receive personalised mentoring for higher education and direct access to a network of 100+ leading global universities, connecting them to clear, ambitious pathways through one-to-one counselling, targeted application support and the Annual University Fair. This has enabled over 200 learners to secure offers from top institutions such as Harvard, the University of Manchester and the National University of Singapore, reflecting the academic excellence, global readiness and holistic development that define TIPS graduates.
Learners enjoy a rich and stimulating extra-curricular life through exclusive opportunities. Inter‑house and inter‑school competitions across academics, sports and the arts foster resilience, teamwork and a strong drive for excellence. Through the Interact Club, aligned with local Rotary clubs, learners design and lead community service projects and campaigns that support underprivileged communities, nurturing empathy and a lasting commitment to social responsibility.
A rich publishing culture further amplifies student voice and scholarship, with Research Journals from Grade 8 onwards, ‘Reflections’ magazine, original student writing and artwork, the TIPS Podcast and Kids Story Corner all showcasing learners as thoughtful writers, creators and changemakers.
Through our sports programme, learners train in football, badminton, basketball, athletics, swimming and cricket with specialist coaches who build strength, speed, agility and advanced technical skills.
A dedicated student‑athlete track via the flexible NIOS curriculum supports university‑entry readiness while accommodating intensive training and competition schedules.
Learners sharpen their competitive edge at Indian inter‑school tournaments such as RAIS and ISSO, training in advanced facilities that include outdoor pitches, indoor sports halls, two swimming pools and a track field, creating a powerful platform to excel in both sport and studies.
Learners belong to a truly multilingual, multicultural community that welcomes learners from across Tamil Nadu, India and the wider South Asian region. English is the main language of instruction and interaction, with fluency fast-tracked through the IB PYP and Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level curricula, supported by interactive, tech-enhanced learning.
Learners also strengthen their linguistic repertoire by studying Tamil at all stages and choosing Hindi or French in Secondary School, while school-wide events such as International Day and cultural festivals celebrate diverse heritages and deepen global awareness.
Each day begins with a calm emotional check‑in and ends with reflective check‑outs, while Mental Health Day activities and year‑round access to a trained school counsellor normalise conversations about feelings and coping strategies. A structured mentor–mentee programme pairs each student with a teacher who knows them well, offering a trusted space for honest dialogue and early support when needed. Inclusive learning support is provided through a robust SEN framework, with early identification, personalised IEPs, regular review meetings and close collaboration between staff and families.
From Early Years through the Cambridge AS/A Levels programme, learners at TIPS develop future-ready skills through the IB Learner Profile, strengthened by the ISP Life Competencies framework. Learners are guided to become inquirers, knowledgeable thinkers, clear communicators, principled and open-minded individuals who are caring, balanced, reflective and willing to take thoughtful risks.
These attributes are actively built through student leadership roles, TEDxYouth and MUN, creative platforms like the TIPSE Lit-Fest and performing arts, research published in the Student Research Journal, a structured sports programme, international exchange opportunities and dedicated wellbeing workshops. Together, these experiences equip learners with the mindset, skills and confidence to thrive at university and in a rapidly changing world.
At TIPS – The Indian Public School, Erode International, our Boarding House offers learners a warm and structured home-away-from-home. Nestled in the heart of the Erode district, learners from diverse backgrounds live, learn and grow together in a nurturing residential environment.
From shared meals and guided study hours to sports, cultural programs, and thoughtfully curated boarding activities, learners develop independence, resilience and lifelong friendships. With experienced house parents, strong academic support and a secure campus, our boarders thrive academically while building character, confidence and a strong sense of belonging.
Learners immerse themselves in a rich spectrum of artistic opportunities that nurture both creativity and character. From drama and performing arts, where they script, improvise and take to the stage, to dance and music, where they refine rhythm, coordination and musicality in dedicated studios, learners build confidence, communication and teamwork.
Visual arts, design & technology and photography open pathways into making, designing and visual storytelling, blending hands-on skills with imaginative thinking in specialist studios and labs.
Through school productions, assemblies, festivals, exhibitions, podcasts and publications, learners regularly showcase their talents to real audiences, developing discipline, leadership and a strong personal voice that benefits them far beyond the arts classroom.
A monitored campus with CCTV coverage, trained security staff, strict supervision at all times ensures physical security at every step of the day and in boarding. Medical needs are supported by a full-time nursing room and on-site ambulance.
Equally, we prioritise emotional safety through preventive anti-bullying education, a strong reporting culture, digital safety guidance and a dedicated school counsellor and a peer buddy system.
Close parent partnership is sustained through awareness programmes, communication workshops and a secure parent portal, so that learners are surrounded by consistent care at school and at home.
Specialist facilities for STEM labs, creative arts studios, dedicated music and dance rooms and well-equipped libraries sit alongside expansive sports grounds and indoor courts, giving learners countless avenues to discover strengths and build confidence. A nurturing boarding house fosters a close-knit residential community, balancing structured study with meaningful downtime and peer connection.
Technology is seamlessly integrated into classrooms and specialist spaces, enabling collaboration, research and creativity, and is further strengthened through International Schools Partnership - ISP’s global expertise in educational technology, ensuring learners learn in an environment that is both future-ready and truly empowering.
